Stamford Connecticut’s Premier Sauna & Cold Plunge Village.

Find clarity, recovery, and good vibes at Hideout 😎.

Indoor & Outdoor Access. Located in front of Chelsea Piers, CT.

What do you do at Hideout?

We provide contrast therapy in a laid-back and open-air setting. Contrast therapy is an ancient health ritual of heating up in a sauna, cooling down in cold water, and alternating 2-3 times. It’s a regular practice, not a monthly treat.

In less than 1 hour you’ll feel fully alive.

Who is Hideout for?

Those who want to:

Recover, boost mood, de-stress, unwind, breathe, laugh, play, sweat, stretch, recharge, energize, find clarity, feel calm, and feel ALIVE.

The Benefits: Why People Keep Coming Back

Five things happening to your body and mind every time you visit.

  • Sit in the sauna and your body gets to work — blood flow increases, muscles loosen, and your brain releases a wave of endorphins. Regular sessions have been linked to better sleep, reduced inflammation, lower blood pressure, and a healthier heart. And all you have to do is sit there :)

  • Cold water immersion resets your nervous system, releasing stress, anxiety, and a racing mind — replacing it with a better mood, sharpened cognition and focus, leaving you feeling confident, resilient, and more awake than you've been all week.

  • Heat. Cold. Fresh Air. Repeat. In about an hour, your entire state changes — not just physically, but mentally and emotionally. Most people walk in carrying the weight of their day. They leave feeling like a different person. Aligned, balanced, in order. One hour. That's all it takes.

  • Most of us sit inside all day, in crappy office chairs, staring at screens.

Hideout is outdoors by design. Breathing in fresh air after a cycle lowers cortisol, reduces blood pressure, and improves your mood in ways that are hard to ignore.

  • No phones. No distractions. Just people actually talking to each other. There's something about sitting in a sauna together that creates real connection — the kind that's hard to find anywhere else these days. Communal heat rituals have been the social glue of cultures for thousands of years. We're just bringing it to your neighborhood.
